A day that starts off well can quickly change, causing delays within one's day. That was how my morning began. The day started off peacefully but, suddenly within minutes several unexpected turn of events began to come my way. One delay after the next, from backed up traffic to a near collision, I was taken aback but, not dismayed. Instead, I prayed and gave thanks for the delays the Lord allowed to take place in my life today.
Delays can be a blessing if we choose to accept them that way. In the midst of delays, we must have faith that despite the mess the Lord is there to give us rest. Instead, of surrendering to what we see we must seek Him for serenity, because each delay can draw us closer to Him in a special way.
May you accept every delay as a blessed opportunity to glorify His name.
