Paul , in his letters to the early churches, talks a lot about them being divided , and believing different things other then what was taught to them , and basically picking sides. That was roughly 1,950 years ago.
The Christian church today is very divided. We have to become one folks . If we Christians were to unite we would be unstoppable ! We could vote in anyone we wanted into any office. We could get God BACK into society, into classrooms , courtrooms, and the media . This country is falling to pieces day by day because of a Godless culture. Look at the garbage on TV and in movies. Gay men are on a large percentage of sitcoms these days, and not only is that tolerated, it is glorified !
We should all read our own bibles as the early American leaders did. Gods word does not change with the times. He is against sex outside of marriage , he is against homosexuality, and he hates lies.
With the country really going down the tubes, and Muslims growing by leaps and bounds every day , we Christians have to unite on all fronts. Put aside little differences in the way we worship , or weather we are in a prosperity church , or in a Catholic church , or Methodist church , Lutheran etc .. Jesus wants us united in Him !!
