Different Christian denominations confuse me. I just don't get them.
One time I was at a bible study consisting of a bunch of college aged people from different churches and denominations in the area. And someone mentioned a few denominations in an example, and I was shocked at what they had to say about the denomination. Basically putting it in the same category with some cults. (They obviously had no idea what they were talking about.)
Especially since my friend who was sitting next to me was raised in the denomination that the girl mentioned.
What ever the girl said made no sense at all.. but I was so shocked that she would say and actually believe such things about my friend's denomination, that I could help but laugh after she said it, and then I was distracted the rest of the bible study.
I don't understand why people from different denominations sometimes verbally thrash other denominations and members of those denominations. It scares people away.

"Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God." - Romans 15:7
