Demon Attack

“Attack! Attack! Bring them in jail
They’ve still not found The Way
The fools are mine, if now they fail
So let’s have no delay

Inject the brood with germ and pest
Go make them sick and weak
Make sure the righteous have no rest
No time His face to seek

I know, they’ve heard the gospel preached
I know they’ve bought the book
But do we know how far they’ve reached?
How deep, they’ve sought to look?

So make things hard to understand
Confound their spiritual eyes
And don’t give up the task at hand
Continue with your lies

I’ve seen it happen all before
We’ve run the perfect race
Yet still somehow, they find The Door
And walk to life and grace

I see The Truth, is on His way
He’ll soon be with them here
So don’t allow them fast or pray
Go strike them down with fear

As yet they’re mine; and mine alone
Their souls belong to me
While still there hearts are cold as stone
They’re mine by His decree

Too late you fools they’ve seen The Light
They’ve heard the true report
But though they may have won the fight
The war, must yet be fought”…
