Hey readers (if there is anyone out there...)
Its nice of you to stop by. I hope you find encouragement in the pages of this blog. If not, you can find it somewhere. Just keep looking
Anyhoo...
Here's today's entry.
My Oma is in the hospital- has been since this morning. She has heart problems as an after affect of a mild(ish) case of Covid-19. Heart failure and strokes have run through our family- claiming the lives of her father, mother and both of her sisters. Her father was younger than she is now. But the others weren't far ahead from her current age.
She was very concerned this morning when her left side was numb and her heart was racing and so much more. Honestly it was all very confusing for me. I'm not good with medical things.
My Opa has been at the hospital with her almost all day today.
Good news- scratch that- GREAT news- is she doesn't have pneumonia and she doesn't have any blood clots.
The bad news is that they can't figure out what's wrong. So they are keeping her over night.
Its going to be rough trying to sleep knowing she is in the hospital. I don't know if I will sleep at all tonight- though I can hardly keep my eyes open now.
I got two hours of sleep last night. I can't talk straight or see straight. I'm starving because I'm too anxious to hold down any food.
But God brought me back to life after my heart stopped and I stopped breathing for three minutes in 2015. He saved my Aunt from Covid in 2021 after she passed out in the hospital parking lot and hit her head with a nearly stopped heart, and spent 17 days on a Vent. She was in the hospital for 53 days and lost her voice nearly completely- her vocal chord collapsed. But with a bit of Botox in the chord and nearly 7 months of speech therapy she is singing more beautiful than she did before- and with much more passion.
She is singing like an angel on the worship team now. She's always sang in a worship band, but never quite this amazing.
God is good. He was faithful before. And I trust that He will be faithful again.
If you don't mind, prayers would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reading this and have a very blessed day!
xx Zee
