David Saw The Truth.....

King David saw the truth so clear
Humbly bending his knees
With heart flowing with Godly fear
He sought his Lord to please

Yet chocked with pride the church pulsates
Though Christ for her had died
Rising again and still awaits
That love be magnified

Thinking God’s presence will appear
We sing on Holy Ground
Praying long prayers for all to hear
While selfish thoughts abound

Ourselves; to God we need to bring!
One’s hands, holy should raise
In reverence should one’s soul truth sing
For God to hear our praise

With humble heart and selfless mind
Respectful set aside
When eyes no more to Christ are blind
All needs will God provide

Wisdom and knowledge need to call
Humility needs to reign
Then foolish pride will come to fall
And life will be our gain

For souls on eagles wing to fly
For victory sweet as wine
To God we need to live and die
In Christ to rise and shine

To God alone our praise should be
For others should we cry!
Heralding life’s sweet victory
Through Christ our King on high.....
