Joh 1:1-14 -The Word that Was and is. The Word that came down into my soul and brought God into this Monastery in which I am dwelling.All that I feel and all that I am is because He ,the Word,created it in my soul. In the Word is life and His life brought Light into my cell of darkness.This Cell where I spend my nights and days conteplating, thinking. The light came! And fill my dark mind and botomless soul with the flickering flame of Hope - darkness was standing by, ready to kill the tender flame, darkness fled before the flickering images of Spiritual letters dancing just behind the eyes of my sightless soul.
Praise be to the Word of all Life - I, spirit, was born -not because of the will of a man, but out of the Will of God. To breath this flame till my being is alight and I may tread on the path which lead to the darkness in which my God dwells.
Prayer:
..I praise Thee, oh Lord God, for entering this damp and lonely dwelling where my spirit was hold captive by myself. Thank you , for defeating me,and thus freeing me to worship in the light of this small flame you entrusted to me. I hear your footsteps in the darkened halls of this monastery -If it be your Will - give me the courage to search the great halls and find thou Glory manifested.
