How easy man can lose control
My wayward life has cost my soul
Alone God’s Son can give me rest
His grace and love to pass life’s test

If You my God would come to me
Would turn this child through hands so strong
That I may sing Salvation’s song

Please come to me my God most high
Allow this humble heart to fly
Above the clouds and higher still
My soul to teach Your holy will

I pray Your Truth would come to me
Would take these chains and set me free

Anoint these lips to spread the word

Lord share with me Your perfect love
Gentle Saviour wondrous dove
Lord fill my heart with Heaven’s Light
That I may dwell within Your sight

Oh come to me great King of kings
Lend ear this heart while now it sings
A song of love, which has no end
Son of God my one true friend

Yes come to me, sweet God of grace
Please rid me of this evil place
Consume the filth that’s still abound
Restore your world to holy ground

You’ve given me Salvation’s bread
That now more children, may be fed
I bless the day You set me free
To spread the word to those like me.
