More excited if one could be
More than ever before
Waiting, serving my God to see
Forever and ever more
Above the clouds, the moon, the sun
Beyond both time and space
Before Salvation's plan was spun
Heaven bestowed Love's grace
Destined for those who conquer sin
Elite of all mankind
Ordained eternal Life to win
Who too were lost and blind
No more as dregs, of this world are
Life's scum riding hell's tide
Keeping hell's doors wide ajar
Where devil souls will abide
Cleansed of hell's filth , my wayward past
Wise! to the devil's maize

God sowed good seed, whilst I was bad
In others, Life's germ I saw

Jesus drew quickly in His hand
Away from Satan's charms
