  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Church Without Walls

Through structures cold and dead

Stained glass porthole grand pillared halls
Towers pointing above
Yet too few churches without walls
Serve truly Christ with love

Where is the fear of yesteryear?
Wisdom ordained the bride
Her selfless love her tender care?
Drawing God’s sheep inside

Too busy living in the past
Drinking the same old wine
Man going nowhere quick and fast
With necks as stiff as iron

But God’s ordained His church should thrive
Glorious and sublime
In righteousness to all survive
Beyond the tests of time

With Calvary’s cross in constant view
It’s bearer plain in sight
Christ’s faithful bride must rise up too
In armoured robes of white

Life’s battle’s raging wild outside
The dragon seeks his prey
Yet masses seek in church to hide
Though Christ is on His way

But praise The Lord, some see The Light
Experience Truth first hand
Readying selves to stand and fight
Living as Jesus planned
