IT IS CALLED THE PASSOVER –NEVER easter
The Passover is one most important feast, the one that defines Christianity in a profound way, confirming Christ Jesus as our Passover lamb and justification through His blood, yet the enemy seems to be succeeding in using Christians to reduce and possibly nullify its purpose. Christians name their conventions easter, and use this name frequently during their services ---and still hope to have the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in their midst.
How Passover was Hijacked
The most unfortunate thing about Passover is that it occurs during “Vernal Equinox”(Spring) period in the Northern hemispheres.
The spring is characterised by, among others, and evidenced in plants, trees and wildlife spring back to flower, seeding and pollinating offspring, giving birth and gaining life in a cycle of fertility. The beginning of spring is celebrated in many different occultic worship and observerances in many countries, nations, and religions.
The name Easter is derived from the name Eostre, who is an Anglo Saxon goddess, similar to Germanic lunar goddess Ostara, goddess of fertility. She is worship by her sacred symbol of a hare (rabbit / easter bunny) and eggs (easter eggs). Many religions hail the rabbit as a sacred messenger to the divine, and is also known as a symbol of fertility. Similarly eggs have special meanings in many religions, among others, they symbolise new life. During these feasts and festivals the pagan’s worshiping would use brightly coloured eggs, chicks, and “bunnies” to express their appreciation of the abundance “goddess Eastre” had provided for them. More can be said on the variations of worship regarding the goddess, rabbit, eggs, and other symbols associated with goddess easter.
The early Christian missionaries, in attempts to convert other religions to Christianity, decided to “embrace” the occultic worship as part of Christian Passover feast, thereby reduced the most important God ordained Passover Feast to evil worship. The same is incorporated in many Christian church programs
The power of proclamation and the powerful marketing technology stemming, especially from the Western hemispheres propelled and fuel this satanic worship throughout the earth, and more so having adopted by the world of commerce and business. The damage is almost irreparable.
When Christians embrace ester, they do so in direct violation and contradiction to God’s utterances, for He says “you shall not have other gods before Me”, Ex.20:3-5, Jos.24:19-20, Deut.4:35, He further says “ I Am the first, and I AM the last, and besides Me, there is no god” Is.44:6 and “I Am He, before Me, there was no god formed, neither shall there be after Me”. Is.43:10
There are other many objects and manner of worship in Christian churches which are unbiblical but are used to observe this very very sacred feast of the Lord.
A new breed of Apostles is rising who have, among others, a fresh mandate from the Father, as was the case with the Prophet Jeremiah, these are to root out and pull down, to destroy and overthrow such practices(Jer.1:10).
The Philistines learnt this very important lesson, that you cannot mingle The Creator of the Heavens and Earth, with dagon (earthly gods). Is. 5:2-7.
The Origins and the True Biblical Passover.
Prior Passover:
The family of Jacob (Israel), which carried the seed and the promise through Isaac son of Abraham, relocated to Egypt through divine intervention (long story), at the time when Joseph (Jacob’s son) was a governor in Egypt. After many years, there arose a new King in Egypt who knew not Joseph, and was threatened by the strength of the Israelites. He made Israelites slaves in Egypt and killed their firstborn sons (except Moses).
Since the fall of man, through Adam’s disobedience, God had been at work towards restoring man back to Him. In His eternal plans, He chose Abraham’s seed as a restorative mechanism. Abraham had turned into a mighty nation in Egypt, and accustomed to all of Egypt’s social ways and religious worship. They did not know the God of Abraham, Isaac and their father Israel.
The Feasts of Israel
The Ancient of Days, El Elohe Y’srael, chose Moses, to deliver the Israelites from Egypt, and more importantly to manifest Himself to mankind through Israel. Israel had to be taught from scratch, of who the Almighty God Is, and how The Most High ought to be worshipped. Israel was God’s chosen nation, through whom, the plans and purposes of God would be reveal throughout the universe. (Ex.4:22, 1Ch.16:13, Ps.135:5, Ps.41:8, Is.44:1)
The True Worship of YHWH ELOHIM (The Lord God)
The Feasts of God.
In Summary, God taught Israel How to worship Him through FEASTS. The First and the Last, gave Israel Seven Feasts (besides the Sabbath). These feasts were mandatory Holy convocations and were God’s (Lev.23:4/37). The understanding of the feasts of Israel, coupled to the understanding Tabernacle of Moses (its construction, materials, order of worship, etc.), bring illumination, insight, understanding and knowledge of God the Father, of the Lord Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit‘s divine plans and purposes.
These seven feasts are grouped in three, i.e. The First group occurs in the First month (March /April) and combines Passover, Unleavened Bread (Salvation) and First fruits. The second group occurs in the 3rd month (June) and is the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost / Holy Ghost Baptism). The 3rd group occurs in the 7th month (Sept. / Oct.) and constitute Feast of Trumpets/new moon (Prophets), Day of Atonement (Holiness) and Feast of tabernacles (Open Heaven).
It is however, very important to note that such feast were types, copies and shadows of the substance that was to come, and the substance is Christ Jesus. (Heb. 9:9-10. Heb.10:1):. These things paint a picture of Christ Jesus, and every element is a facet of the Lord.
The Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. (Ex.12:1-28)
The main elements of the Passover consist of the Lamb (or goat or sheep), The Blood, Unleavened Bread, and Bitter Herbs. (No Rabbits, No Bunnies, No Cross Buns, No Eggs, and other nonsensical stuff people use these days)
A Few Passover Principles
1. It represents a departure from previous way of life, and separation from world social systems. God, enthroned above the Cherubims, told Israel that from that time forward “This month shall be the beginning of months, it shall be the first month of the year to you”. It meant Israel must carve a NEW PATH and make NO reference to the past. This was very important as the One who Sits above the circle of the earth, was beginning to teach Israel how the Most Excellent ought to be worshipped.
2. The Lamb was chosen, The Lamb was Kept, The Lamb was Killed, The Lamb was Roasted, The Flesh was Eaten with Unleavened Bread and Bitter Herbs, The Blood was Sprinkled, Holy convocations on the 1st and the 7th day, etc. It would take volumes of books, gigabytes of revelatory knowledge to download, decode and articulate this passage. Suffice for not to say that the feast was detailed and the exact detail was to be followed as God, instructed.
Blood Snapshot:
It was this Blood, applied to door posts and lintels, that SAVED Israel from DEATH. Whoever did not have this Blood on their door posts and lintels (which was Egyptians) had their firstborn children killed. “When I see the Blood, I will Pass Over you……and this Day shell be Kept as a Memorial, a Feast to the Lord through your generations” (Ex. 12:12-14)
This is the same Blood upon the Brazen Alter in the Tabernacle of Moses (Ex.27) given for the remission of sins.
Why the Blood:
The Life of all Flesh is in the Blood. (Lev. 17:11). This explains why (after Cain had killed Abel) that God says to Cain that Abel’s blood cries to Him, ---meaning Abel’s life. Also remember that there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one (1 John 5:8).
This being the case, God forbids that blood be eaten or drank, because you are actually imputing that life on you. This explains why satanists and other cults, drink the blood of animals to derive power from animal’s life. In a restaurant --“how do u like you steak sir? –medium rare” …well you’ve just violated Lev.17:12-14; Deut.12:16…meat is never to be eaten with its blood.
Through the sin of Adam, Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Also, the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)
Simple put, all have sinned, and therefore all must die. But God being merciful provided a way out, through the blood as atonement for our souls (Lev. 17:11). The Israelites, as God instructed, would take a bull and place their hands on the bull’s head, as a sign that the identity of the person is now assumed by the bull. When the bull is killed, and its blood shed, it is as though the actual person (whom the bull assumed identity) had died (hence sin paid by death).
Moreover, almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood there is no remission. Hebrews 9:22
THE PASSOVER TODAY
The manner in which the Passover was celebrated cannot be the same today because the feasts were types and shadows of what was to come (Heb. 9:9-10. Heb.10:1)
Our Lord Christ Jesus, became the Passover sacrificial Lamb who takes away the sins of the world. (Is.53:7, Lk.2:11, Jhn.1:29, 1Cor.5:7)
Our Lord Christ Jesus, became the Bread of Life (Jhn.6:35)
Our Lord Christ Jesus, became the Chief High Priest of the ranking of Melchizedek (Heb.6:20)
Our Lord Christ Jesus, became the Only Mediator between God and man (1Tim.2:5, Heb.8:6/ 9:15/ 12:24)
Our Lord Christ Jesus, Reconciled man to God (Rom.5:10, 2Cor.2:18, Col.1:21)
Also consider the following few verses ;--
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
One of the purposes of the Passover was to Execute Judgement against all the gods of Egypt Ex. 12:12. Yet Christians call on the name of this goddess easter “lifting the judgement against gods”, bringing them to life again and thus sabotaging the work of the cross.
Jesus is the only mediator between God and man (1Tim.2:5, / Heb.8:6, 9:15, 12:24), however, the pagan worship substitute Christ with a rabbit, whom the pagans use as messenger to their divine, and Christians are happy with the embrace---how many rabbits articles are at Christians’ homes??
Jesus, is the Life giving Spirit (1Cor.15:45) and if any man be in Him, the same is a new creation (2Cor.5:17), being born again (John3:3-7, 1Pet1:23). However, Christians today are embracing eggs as the symbol of newness of life, sabotaging the Spiritual rebirth through Christ.
