Blog-post from the 11/11/12
On this remembrance Sunday I went to the morning service 1030, then went to the Watershed in Bristol with my laptop and met with some freelance authors to get some writing done and after that I went to the cathedral where I caught the last twenty minutes of their remembrance service and had a quick sit-down with one of the reverends (I went on their website, I think it was Reverend Tim Higgins). I got the bus back to Christ Church to catch their remembrance evening service - I felt very dedicated that day!
After the service the Vicar asked me: "How are you getting on? Are you beginning to feel you can put your trust in God?"
I was tempted to say "Yes" but there's no point in being dishonest with Jo – he can see straight through you. I replied: "Nah... we're still in a love-hate relationship." Then he laughed with me – and God.
