Working full time, taking a long distance university course, and training for a half marathon...things are getting a bit crazy. On top of that, I'm driving 6 1/2 hours down the lower mainland to do a weekend seminar course. But you know, I've been so happy. God gives me peace in these busier times.
On a side note, I bumped into a friend today who I haven't seen in a while. I say "friend" not because we're close, but because we get along well and I do care about her like I care for other friends. She's been having a rough time, and I mean a really rough time, so I'm going to be praying for her. She looked like she was at the point of breaking when I saw her. Hopefully I can get together with her next week. I gave her my number and told her to call me when I'm back from my course. When friends are down, the most I can do for them is pray for them and love them.
I find it rather...what's the word...interesting? Peculiar? Crazy?...that my life is so different from my non-Christian friends. Something I've just been pondering over. We all have different journeys, but God is always there, no matter where you're at.
