I have now begun saying the Jesus Prayer in earnest. I have set aside 20 minutes in the morning after my morning prayers and also I pray this prayer throughout the remainder of the day.

I grew up believing that God the Father was a monster. Oh sure, I would never say that, but when you believe that someone would require a blood sacrifice, from an innocent man, no less, to assuage one's offended honor, then that person is a monster.
