Beyond The Shadows

I’ve life and love I’m born anew
I’m in my Saviours hand
Reading the bible through and through
Learning to understand

Learning to serve learning to care
Learning to watch and pray
Learning with neighbours love to share
Walking God’s chosen way

Walking the way of God’s true Son
Walking the way of love
Until the war of life is won
Until I rise above

Beyond the shadows of the night
Beyond the hands of death
Arrayed in armour shining bright
I’ll rise on Heaven’s breathe

Above the clouds and far away
Free of pain and tears
Never again this sheep will stray
Not in a billion years

Oh once I was the devil’s fool
Doting his evil wares
Turning my back on Heaven’s rule
Until I saw the snares

Till truth restored my failing sight
Within The Master’s hand
Until I saw from in The Light
The end that Satan planned

A fool I was but now no more
I’m standing Jesus true
I’m heading straight for Heaven’s door
Eternal life in view
