Witnessing is a work of the heart, mind and will; it is full of emotion, reason and volition.In a complete witnessing experience you will have the opportunity to do more than share your testimony, you will also have the privilege of sharing God's truth. Conversion to Christ involves more than spiritual inspiration, there is Scriptural information to understand and respond to as well.
The Bible describes people who witness to others with the aid of God's Word as "star." That could be you! Every time you explain to someone a message from the Bible, you're a bright star to them-- like the North Star! As they listen to you explain God's plan of salvation, light and clarity are entering their darkness and misunderstanding.
Alittle later you will discover the essential Biblical truth a person needs to know in order to make it to heaven. Meanwhile, ask the Lord to make crystal clear to you His message of salvation. Then pray for a strong desire to communicate this truth with others!
Philippians 2:12-16
Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more inportant. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear.(13) For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
(14) Do everything without complaining and arguing,(15) so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.(16) Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ's return, I will be pround that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.
