The Seed of Life is Truth and Light
God’s Word His royal decree
Power surpassing the greatest might
Through Christ within the free
The free, have now the world to tell
The truth of life anew
To teach the lost of sin and hell
The way to Heaven too!
With knowledge is the bride so full
Her saints are fat and sleek
Yet many swords have grown quite dull
Just sitting every week
The Lord will use a faithful tool
But yet He’s not deceived
We cannot play with Him the fool
Once truth has been received
Not all in Christ is being done
Ignorant, children die
Their souls yet many could have won
When heeding Jesus’ cry
The world must hear God’s churches sing
Her children must be taught
Must feel the love beneath Christ’s wing
Receive His true report
The world must see she’s much to learn
So much from Christ to gain
So no one else should ever burn
Nor feel eternal pain
God’s precious Lamp we dare not hide
But rise our load to bear
Until the last has come inside
God’s gift of life to share…
