You’re God, life’s King enthroned above
Before earth’s time began
How great You are, Your grace, Your love
Tending to wayward man
Even suffering unto death
Nailed to a blood soaked tree
Painful taking every breath
For sinners just like me
From every death, You chose the worst
Why! I may never know
Willingly hanging wholly cursed
Watching lost souls below
Salvation dying, in plain sight
Watching life’s blood run free
To die, Your Spirit took to flight
Still blind, they fail to see
Though anointing souls to calling
Churches life’s truth to tell
Yet deceived, mankind keeps falling
Into eternal hell
Lord, is there anything I can do?
Anything You can give?
For more to come through birth anew
Eternally to live
Lord, loose more tongues to tell others
Untie life’s stubborn mules
Before man’s religion smothers
Soften the hearts of fools
Not for myself, I pray these things
Already in The Vine
I know I’ll rise on Heaven’s wings
Where Yours, will soon be mine…..
