Babylon is the flattering tongue that speaks fair….good words and fair speeches….in order to deceive the simple. They serve their own “belly”….the hidden beast within which is full of extortion and excess. The “beast” within that was, and is not but yet is…..is hidden from view by the flattering tongue.
Romans 16:17-18 KJV
(17) Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
(18) For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
We are not to believe their good words and fair speeches because Babylon…the flattering tongue… is hiding 7 abominations in the heart. He that hates, acknowledges God with his lips and so confuses the simple but lays up deceit within the heart.

(24) He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;
(25) When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.
Hatred is covered by deceit….Babylon…a lying tongue.
(26) Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.
(27) Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
A lying tongue hates those that are afflicted by it….for those who are led astray have their lives slain by deception. The life of Jesus never manifests in their mortal bodies because of the deceptions of the antichrist who denies that Jesus IS COME in the flesh. They deceive many….leading them astray from having love for one another and after their commandments, doctrines, traditions, covetousness which is idolatry, etc. They cause many to set aside the commandment of God to have love for one another in order to keep religious-sounding men’s traditions.
(28) A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.
Babylon appears clean on the outside….but inside, the flattering tongue hides a heart full of extortion and excess. Their works appear outwardly to be the “works of righteousness”…wonderful works….but their corruptible works do not redeem us at all.
All those who have been occupied by their works have perished from off this earth and we have many gravestones of the “faithful” church-goers of the past to prove that. His life had not been manifested in their mortal flesh as evidently they have perished. Satan…and his ministers of “righteousness”… destroyed the flesh so that their spirit may be saved.

The flattering tongue appears beautiful on the outside. She is dressed in glittering things. But the hearts of those who employ her are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Many have walked over them not knowing the defilement that they are engaged in by touching the grave of religious-sounding men. Those who touch a “grave”…attached to the things of religious-sounding men are unclean and are perishing.

They will revile us and say all kinds of evil. The flattering tongue they once used “falls”….as their countenance shall change against us….and their mouth becomes a haunt for every unclean and hateful word.

Many lay aside the commandment of God to have love for one another in order to keep the traditions of religious-sounding men. They reject the commandment of God of having love for one another in order to keep their denominations’ teachings which keep many living in envy, strife, divisions and hatred of one another.

In Matthew 23, there are 7 woes made to the “scribes and Pharisees” and 1 woe to the “blind guides”. “Pharisee” means “separated ones”.

They lead denominations….where many are “separated” from each other over the commandments and doctrines of men which are dictated by their “scribes”. In order to belong to one of their separatist brands of religion, you must adhere to the scribes’ commandments, doctrines, dogmas, principles, tenets of faith, etc.

They separate themselves into denominations…..sensual not having the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

He spoils the principalities and powers who once kept us in the “dark” with their commandments and doctrines of men. He takes their ordinances out of the way. He removes the stumbling blocks. He makes a show of them openly, triumphing over them.

Their carnal ordinances have kept His life from appearing…as we are perishing by the using of their commandments and doctrines.

(17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
LET NO MAN BEGUILE YOU OF YOUR REWARD…..”eternal life”…life to the Age…. in this mortal body. Let them not lead you astray from His commandments and to the grave. They are beguiling us of THE life that our mortal flesh is supposed to manifest….His life…. “eternal life”….life to the Age and of the coming Age.

The scribes and Pharisees love to occupy the high places. They love to have the preeminence among men. Do not do their works…..for they lay heavy burdens….doctrines and commandments of men….that are grievous to be borne.
