Au Contraire

The world man has created in our own image has a set pattern. We do things out of tradition based upon putting our own will ahead of the Will of the Father. Although mankind may not think of it, in doing so, we are technically doing things backwards to the ways of the Kingdom.

We were given bold evidence of this when the people of Judah expected an earthly king to set them free of oppression while Jesus said His Kingdom was not of this world (a point few still fully understand today). Everything from His birth to His way of life and teachings were contrary to what mankind would expect of a Saviour. He did not act in ways we would expect authourity to act. He didn’t play the role.

Oddly, people all through history (and especially today) follow the same pattern when studying scripture. They, as an example, start at the front of the Book and work their way through, failing to be taught what is of importance first. Failing to focus on not only the Man, but most importantly on His Gospel of the Kingdom. A Gospel in which He told us the good news that God was coming to reverse the traditional ways of man resulting in His Will being done first, not ours. A Gospel that tells us point blank how to behave.

If people first understood this, they would hopefully reverse traditional procedure and first jump to the back of the book to find out who dunit, so to speak. That is to say, they would focus on the message of the Man before all else, leaving the rest of the Book, it being a backstory for later on, and as a matter of interest, while hopefully seeing it as a history of man’s failure to put God’s Will first. This instead of trying to make it fit our world, trying to justify what we do.

It is advisable to seek the Will of the Father first as given in Jesus’ 2 commandments, thus reversing our thinking, and in turn, leaving those who wish to teach everything except that behind, until one is secure in the only Gospel Jesus taught about a Kingdom contrary to the thinking and actions of this world. Only then should they pursue, as a hobby perhaps, the history and backstory that Christianity, churches and even home teachers dwell on, reinforcing backwardness instead of the focal point of the Christ’s message.

I want you to think why I say this. We may only be given our next breath. There is no time to waste in our getting to the meat and potatoes of the Gospel of the Kingdom. PRIORITY ! Do this first. Understand the Will of God, reverse your thinking, then feel free with the time you have left to learn about how mankind in the Old Testament (and especially now) failed to do the Father’s Will. Jump to the back of the book and do things properly from back to front in opposition to the ways of mankind, not how man continues to do. Focus on God’s truth first which is contrary to ours, then if you wish, lose yourself later in the religion man made in our own image, and hopefully see how easily we are misled by misdirection through man when the focus is not on the simple Will of the Father, but upon the will of man trying to justify what we do to please self rather than serving God and others as needed. It is the only message the Father and Son taught. It is mankind that adds confusion for our own purposes.
