Lying, sitting, tossing, turning
Bed clothes, all in a heap
Soul relating, heart concerning
Without a moments' sleep
Bible reading, praying each night
Probing each troubled thought
When suddenly I saw the light
Revealing Heaven's report
My heart took flight, starting to sing
Life's living song I'd learned
God sees, God knows everything
Even that I'm concerned
Yes! this is the very reason
Since seeking Jesus' face
This is God's time, love's season
To show undeserved grace
Though my life, still far from saintly
With selfish thoughts so much
Gradually, ever so faintly
I sensed my Saviour's touch
Tingling inside enthralling
Feeling my heart aglow
Christ Jesus, my Lord was calling
Within Salvation flow
Alive! So alive with laughter
Feeling tremendous love
Far more, than ever sought after
Came from Heaven above
Beyond man's imagination
Excited, delighted, so free
Truly, was life's invitation
Christ Jesus gave to me.....
