Just as the media insists we must see them as truth tellers and must believe what we are told, there are factions within religion who demand the same. We must be true believers in their doctrines and various agendas and teachings. Liars all. But Jesus was clear when addressing the Apostles , that truth only comes from the Father and not from man and that this would be the rock, the foundation of His church. True believers follow the will and ways of the Kingdom, not the will and ways of man (as others who mistakenly call themselves true believers, like to do). The two worlds are opposite in nature.
1 John 2: 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
