Are You Crying Father?

Is that You crying Father dear?
Is Jesus wrapped in prayer?
I know my God you’re always near
And know You always care

Your heart dear God is full of love
Your hands can do no wrong
So why our Father high above
Must You sing Your tearful song

Heaven and earth is in Your hand
Creation’s at Your feet
Allow Your servant understand
Don’t let The Truth retreat

I love You Lord and wish to know
The things that make You weep
The things that cause Your tears to flow
And bring Your thoughts so deep

I’m so distressed to hear You cry
To feel Your troubled thought
So answer Lord please tell me why
Divulge Your true report

If anything can still be done
Our Father please explain
Allow us now through Christ Your Son
Alleviate Your pain

Soften our hearts that we may learn
Let grace be found within
Facilitate that we discern
The consequence of sin

Please weep no longer Father dear
Whatever darkness tries
Let true obedience bring sweet cheer
Let love dry now Your eyes
