If so, ask yourself how firm is the foundation of my faith?
I have spoken to so many professing Christians that will desperately reach out to others with issues that are on their heart(s) instead of going straight to the Lord.
Sadly, they will go from person to person sharing the burdens on their heart unknowingly reliving the emotions of the pain.
When one faithfully embraces the fact that the Lord never gives us more than we can handle, there comes an amazingly peaceful understanding that no matter how difficult the situation appears, we must obediently count it all joy when faced with temptations that challenge our faith (I Corinthians 10:13 and James 1:2-8).
The wonderful truth is that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world and we are more than conqueror through Him (1 John 5:4).
So, I pray that the next time you are up against a situation that seems unbearable that you will cling to the foundation of your faith and wait patiently for the Lord to bring you through.
