All day was really weird, ultra mellow and edgy. Not a feeling I enjoy. That night after work, this guy I know, Chris Lee, came up and was talking to me. He was drunk and and obviously in dispair because he got evicted and locked out of the place he was staying. Beyond his drunkenness, I could see and feel how upset he was, he was at a loss, and just wanted somewhere to sleep. He wanted to call the cops and see if any of them could help him. He asked me to be a witness, and I said that I would. He said he would be right back, that he was going to try and call the police. Not even 15 minutes later, I heard a sound that was like 2 cars collided, but it wasn't. Chris Lee was hit by a car while he was crossing the road. I ran over and there he was just laying there, others had crowded about, and people were on their phones calling 911. He was semi-concious, moaned some, moved one of his arms and his eyes were rolled back into his head. He was taken off and I don't know how stable he is now. I will try Kipp later to try and see. This event has shaken me, and a feel so much for Chris and his family, and for the driver that hit Chris
