Apostasy Much?

I came across a web site in a blog here. It is for "ex Christians". I was curious and briefly visited. I was there less than 5 minutes. I don't know why I am so surprised. I understand those who are unsaved and struggle with questions about God's existence, is the Christian God the true God, etc. as we all have been there. But I cannot understand how a saved person can go in the opposite direction. I have fallen away but I have never denied that God is God. I think many are confused. It's possible that they believe since they attended church and sang the songs that they were Christian. But how can a born again Christian stop loving God? Oh how His heart must break. There will come a time when His wrath is poured out on the world. Lord, please have mercy on us. Please lead me to do your will. Please forgive my sinful nature. Please have mercy....
