DREAM TWO: There was a meeting of some sort, maybe like a church meeting. A lady was there with an unruly child. The child had decided to “divorce” her mother and to go off on her own. And, the mother was just sitting there on the floor in front of the audience off to the right. So, no one was managing the child, not even the speaker or preacher. The preacher/speaker was trying to speak or teach, but the unruly child was writing something on the white board and was talking, too, over the teacher.
This white board was to the left side (of course) of the audience. The audience was sitting on some kind of bleachers. The teacher was standing in front of the right side of the white board and the unruly child was standing on the left side of the white board right next to the bleachers, and they were competing with each other. Finally, the teacher decided to work with the unruly child rather than to try to compete. END
This was in the news today about Sarah Palin:
Ok, I believe the passage that applies here is Ezekiel 22:26-29:
Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. 27 Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain. 28 Her prophets whitewash these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations. They say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says'-when the LORD has not spoken. 29 The people of the land practice extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and mistreat the alien, denying them justice.
My Understanding: This is what I believe the Lord is showing me. Sarah Palin is both the mother and the unruly child for when she brought charges against herself, she basically divorced herself from herself. There was a legislative investigation and now there is a parallel investigation before the Personnel Board which is made up of people that Palin can fire, so where is the “unbiased” approach in this? Anyway, I see the speaker on the right in front of the “white” board as testimony in the legislative investigation and the unruly child in the “parallel” “true arms length unbiased” investigation standing in front of the “white” board on the left as Sarah Palin. She just gave a two hour long testimony in front of the “board”. So, in essence, her “testimony” is talking over the other testimony and/or investigation.
The Lord’s opinion of this whole matter is that these investigators, lawyers, boards, or perhaps just Sarah is doing “violence” to the law. She and/or they do not distinguish between right and wrong. It reminds me of the church, as well, in how our church leaders are making compromises with “unruly children” to the point to where right and wrong are blended together. The Lord is saying here that this investigation is a “whitewash” job to cover up these deeds in question and the lies. Sarah says she wants us to know the “truth” but the Lord calls it “whitewash.”
DREAM THREE: In this dream, I was in bed with a man other than my husband in what looks like a hotel room. I sensed that this was prearranged, like in a wife swap kind of thing. I know I liked the man and I winked at him.
The next morning, people showed up at the door and came inside the room and sat down in chairs. Then, I exclaimed, “Nothing happened!” I know I was very uncomfortable with the whole situation (and I don’t like writing about it, either).
Then, I was supposed to be back with my husband and the man was supposed to be back with his wife, but my husband and the other woman stayed together. I may have ended up with the other man, but I’m not sure about that. END
The scripture verses that go with this dream are:
Therefore I will make you an object of scorn to the nations and a laughingstock to all the countries. 5 Those who are near and those who are far away will mock you, O infamous city, full of turmoil… In you are slanderous men bent on shedding blood; in you are those who eat at the mountain shrines and commit lewd acts…
11 In you one man commits a detestable offense with his neighbor's wife… 16 When you have been defiled in the eyes of the nations, you will know that I am the LORD.' "
