Its been a while since I posted here
God has been merciful as He always is in so many ways
.
I am so grateful He is faithful and always is with His children regardless of what is going on God stays, and that amazes me.
I am most certainly not perfect or holy or anything worthy of Him... perhaps the more I go along on this journey with God the more I realise just how imperfect I am.. and therefore how much more grateful I get that God does actually stay with me.
When God freed me from some things I'd been abandoned a lot and one of the most precious things He said to me was '.. I will never leave you or forsake you.. " He spoke that into the depths of my being.
One of the other precious things He showed me was that He saw me. In the Bible there are some verses where a woman ran away from a very difficult living environment desperate and so alone and God met her so compassionately and she described God as the One who sees me. God is the One who sees me too.
Recently I prayed that God would not forget me.. I know He wont but in terms of using me in His Kingdom to bring Him Glory and that day there was an amazing conversation at work and was able to talk about Jesus and believing in God. It was truely amazing. God is so merciful and hears our hearts more than we know.
Father God, let me not take for granted your amazing goodness. You have freed me and loved me so much more than I ever deserved. While life is not the easiest Father God you are always with me, because you are at my right hand I will not be shaken. David prayed those words and they are true in my life too. You have picked me up so many times when I have stumbled, so many times. I am grateful God for everything you have done, are doing and will do in my life. May people always see You when they see my life I pray, in Jesus Name, amen.
