Have you ever looked up the word “all” in the dictionary? We use the word so commonly, that it seems pointless to even look it up. But, when we reflect on the meaning as it relates to our walk before the Lord it can offer an abundance of revelations.
In every situation it is so important that we ask ourselves, “Have I surrendered “all” over to the Lord?” because if one doesn’t surrender all over to the Lord, a false sense of control will eventually become their demise. Suddenly, situations will become overwhelming, causing a sense of despair and confusion. Many will resort to reaching out to others or to things in the world in an effort to find comfort, only to realize that the relief is a facade as the discomfort of uncertainty intensifies. The pain is so consuming that in the midst of an outpour of prayers one fails to realize that the answer is ever so clear; surrender “all” into the Master’s hand.
In doing so, decisions become directed by His will, heartaches become covered by His love, challenges become conquered by His strength and the heart becomes blessed with a peace that surpasses understanding. Always surrender “all.”
