“From humble dirt grows golden wheat
Yet man when full of pride
Will see it perish in the street
Than bring it safe inside
Too much a church can be refined
It grows to be a sin
Through self her eyes become so blind
Till others can’t come in!
Once saved some think they’ve grown so clean
They’re now the righteous few
Believing nought can come between
Because they’re born anew
But Christ must always have a place
God’s Word must reign on high
Each one who comes must seek His face
Or else that; church will die
The Door to God is open wide
His hands are still apart
Christ welcomes “ALL” to come inside
Who’d love Him with their heart
So lift your head and wear a smile
Let joy in churches reign
Masses will either run a mile
Or turn to Christ again
No factions, cliques, allow to form
God’s flock must serve Him free
To board the ark ride out the storm
Upon life’s raging sea
Who knows how long on pounding waves
We’ll need to stay afloat
So welcome “ALL” who Jesus saves
Who’ll come into the Boat”
Yet man when full of pride
Will see it perish in the street
Than bring it safe inside
Too much a church can be refined
It grows to be a sin
Through self her eyes become so blind
Till others can’t come in!
