  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I fully appreciate that so many people pack their bags in anticipation of visiting God at the end of their journey.

But sadly, most go to the big Christian station and board a train to nowhere while missing the little street car to the Kingdom parked at a siding far from the hubbub of man. They take the Christian train that goes in endless circles because it does not separate from the world of man. God will not enter or associate with us until we do. This, while those of the little street car to the Kingdom find their way easily to it as they have abandoned the world of man and God has been thus allowed to reside within them in a new body free of the self serving ways of man that God cannot abide.

Christianity (the church of man) lays the groundwork to insure the scriptures (not the theologies) are carried forward, but we must find the path to the Kingdom (the church of God) for ourselves within those scriptures, not the theologies. . As Jesus said, no man, but only God will tell you the truth. Religion vs scripture. Doctrines vs the words of Jesus. Man vs God.
