All were soon asleep, but each slept uneasily, and would awaken for short moments. But all was entirely quiet.

They both saw that the sky had cleared, the only clouds were small and distant. Looking around still, they saw many puddles. The ground outside was muddy. They found out it was very muddy.
Deseradar said to the family, "We will stay in here much of this day, I think all the others will. The ground will harden with the sun still shining, though."
