I didn't think this would be an issue, so I thought it wouldn't crop up. But it has, so I figure I should fill you all in. If you're reading this, you're clearly at least curious, so here goes.
In 2006, I was involved in a head-on car crash. Moments before impact, my vision went completely grey, and I lost all feeling. I didn't feel the impact. I do, however, feel the after-effects.
I lost a ligament in my rib cage, so my lowest right rib pushes against my lung. Not only is it immensely painful, but also makes me short on breath and unable to concentrate very well.
In the three weeks after the crash, I was almost completely immobile, and went from a size M to size XXL. All the extra weight on my legs has exhausted them too.
I can't work and the only way I can get around is by bus, on a good day. The problem is, buses along my road only run Monday to Saturday. I guess it's true that Sunday is a day of rest - it is for me and for bus drivers at least...
