The abomination of desolation is covetousness….which is idolatry. Covetousness should not be within us…..the temple of God. Covetousness…the abomination of desolation….is expected to be found in the world but NOT within those we associate with. When we see the “abomination of desolation”…covetousness where it should NOT be, then we are to FLEE. There is no leaving the world but there is the leaving of those who call themselves “brothers” but are covetous. We are not to keep company with them for a little leaven leavens the whole.
1 Corinthians 5:9-13 KJV
(9) I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
(10) Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
(11) But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
(12) For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
(13) But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
Men use their mouths to speak feigned words of righteousness that cover up their covetousness. “Babylon” is the flattering tongue who speaks in glittering ways while hiding the 7 abominations within the heart and leading many to their destruction with the deceit.
2 Peter 2:14-15 KJV
(14) Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
(15) Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
They use their tongues to remove the “daily” sacrifice of having love for one another within our hearts in order to place their covetousness….their lusts…their ways….their thoughts …their practices…within us. They corrupt us with their “flatteries”….Babylon….who is “drunk” with the blood of those she slays with her tongue. Covetousness causes us to perish just like the rest of humanity who does not worship God. They defile the flesh…..making us common with the “sinners” of the outside world…as we perish just like them.
Daniel 11:31-32 KJV
(31) And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
(32) And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Lying lips are abomination to Jehovah…..
Proverbs 12:22 KJV
(22) Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
Covetousness should not be found within us. Guile….deceit….should not be found within our mouths. Can there be any good thing to come out of “Nazareth”? “Nazareth” means “branch”….and refers to the tongue.
John 1:46-47 KJV
(46) And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
(47) Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
NO DECEIT…no fraud…no guile…is found in those who are redeemed from among men. The abomination of desolation is not found within them.
Revelation 14:5 KJV
(5) And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
No deceit was found in the mouth of Christ……
1 Peter 2:21-22 KJV
(21) For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
(22) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
….and we are to follow His example and refrain our tongues from evil and our lips from speaking “guile”…..deceit for unjust gain.
1 Peter 3:10 KJV
(10) For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
It is “unjust gain” because the wicked use their deceitful words to remove THE life from our mortal bodies. If we live by the Spirit, our mortal bodies are given His life. The Life of the Lord manifests in our mortal flesh. But if we live after the lusts of wicked men who deceive us with their words, then we perish. They lie in wait for our blood.
Proverbs 12:5-7 KJV
(5) The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
(6) The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
The wicked are overthrown. Their mortal bodies perish from off the earth as do their followers. But the “house”….the mortal body of the righteous shall STAND as they will inherit “eternal life”…life to the Age in the here and now.
(7) The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.
Sinners are consumed out of the earth…for they all perish without His life being manifested in the mortal body.
Psalms 104:35 KJV
(35) Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
The righteous are recompensed in this earth…..just as the wicked and the sinner. The sinner doesn’t die and go to hell. “Hell” is the being cut off and perishing from off the earth. It is the “fire” that consumes us from off this earth. We are cut down and cast into the “fire” if we do not abide in His commandments….having love for one another.
Proverbs 11:30-31 KJV
(30) The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
(31) Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.
If we hear wisdom and do what she says, then our days in the here and now shall be multiplied and the years of our life shall be increased….. “eternal life”.
Proverbs 9:10-11 KJV
(10) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
(11) For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
But if we listen to the flattering tongues of religious-sounding men, we go down to our deaths. We can not keep company with them….for their end is bitter as wormwood. Their mouths are smoother than oil but it is used only to take away His life from our mortal bodies…and so we perish.
Proverbs 5:3-5 KJV
(3) For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
(4) But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.
(5) Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.
But if we hear His wisdom…receiving His sayings, the years of our life shall be MANY. We shall not “stumble” into the grave. We are to take hold of what is said by her and let her not go. We are to keep His sayings….for they are for the prolonging of our lives. “Death” shall no longer have dominion over us. The fear of death shall be removed. The sting of death is removed.
Proverbs 4:10-23 KJV
(10) Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
(11) I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
(12) When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.
(13) Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
If we enter into the path of the wicked, we are led astray to the destruction of our mortal bodies.
(14) Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
(15) Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
For they can not “sleep” until they have caused some to “fall” into the grave. They drink the wine of violence….for in their words do they slay people.
(16) For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
(17) For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
But the path of the just is as a shining light that shines more and more unto the perfect day. We shall continue to LIVE having “eternal life”….life to the coming Age….until this earth is completely the home of righteousness.
(18) But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
(19) The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
(20) My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
(21) Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
His words of life and spirit are LIFE unto those that find them and HEALTH TO ALL OF OUR FLESH.
(22) For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
(23) Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
We are to flee the covetousness of religious-sounding men. We are to remove our way far from the flattering tongue (Babylon) of men.
Proverbs 5:8-13 KJV
(8) Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:
For their words shall captivate us and bring us to our deaths from off this earth. They shall defile the flesh….as our flesh and our body are consumed under the wrath. Let us not hate instruction and despise reproof. Let us come out from among them and be separate so that we might LIVE.
(9) Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:
(10) Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;
(11) And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,
(12) And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
(13) And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!
Let us “see” the abomination of desolation and flee from it. It should not be within us nor within those we worship God with.
Proverbs 4:24 KJV
(24) Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
1 Corinthians 5:9-13 KJV
(9) I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
