I saw a rose, so crystal clear
In tender hands, so meek
A loving mouth, drew ever near
As warmth, came to my cheek
I saw as lips, caressed; the rose
Then fingers, gently touch
But now I know, I don’t suppose
I felt it all too much
Then wide-awake, I hadn’t dreamed
I saw it all too real
I saw as dew, on petals gleamed
A presence! I could feel
Then all around, was brilliant light
I saw the dewdrops cling
A tingling came, with sheer delight
My heart, began to sing
My room was bright, ’twas all aglow
Again, that glint of dew
The meaning I may never know
But God I knew, ’twas You
Your glory! Lord, was clear to see
Pink candy floss, it seemed
So thick, so dense, surrounding me
I marvelled how it gleamed
This vision lord, I know You sent
A rose, in all it’s form
I know with You, the time was spent
I still recall, how warm
I thank you, for Your warm embrace
I thank you for Your touch
The kisses, on Your servant’s face
I thank my God, so much.
