On Jan. 24th 2 St Petersburg police officers were killed trying to apprehend a rapist, wife beater, batterer of police, and fugitve sought in connection with multiple warrants. Officers Sgt. Tom Baitinger and Officer Jeff Yaslowitz were killed in a gun battle with the fugitive who was later killed as SWAT members burst into the house to retreive one of the trapped officers.
Tom Baitinger left a wife and countless freinds. Jeff Yaslowitz left 2 young boys, a daughter, and wife of 19 years. Jeff was a devout Christian.
These heroes who protect our area will never be forgotten and we owe a debt to their families to honor their memories forever. Please join me in prayer for our fallen heroes families.
