Fwiw, I was given a one week ban for violating an order to ignore a poster who, in my opinion, was posting filth. I wasn't a victim of mass reports or whatever. I'm generally careful to obey rules, so long as they're reasonable. I thought that this demand was unreasonable, so I announced my intention not to comply with it, then I did as I stated I would. I will continue to post what I please to whom I please, forever. Thankfully, my ban was not one that comes from accumulating warnings or whatever, I've got a clean slate that way.
