I am so glad I was able to make it to church last night. I met a lot of people I didn't get to meet on Sunday and have conversations with them.The band practiced for Sunday. We were all in the sanctuary when the practice. I would say 5 or so of us got up and sang. It was very uplifting.
Bible study was on Proverbs. They have been working through a book with questions and stuff. The Pastor gave me one since I hadn't been there for the Bible study before. We talked a lot about community. It was such a blessing to hear how many there help each other, support each there and care. I go so many hugs coming in and when leaving.
I need that last night, the time there. I am so glad to have found a church were there are things that go on during the week as I had not been able to find that in any other non-denominational churches around here.
Next week a class starts on the new convenient. I do pray I get to attend, it runs 12 or 14 weeks just depending. I had a long talk with the man who runs the class.
Women's Bible study starts soon. Small groups start after the 1st of the year.
I do pray women's Bible study ends up being during the day, in the morning so I can attend. I can't be gone almost every night of the week doing something with the church. I don't have a babysitter if my husband is at his office. When he is home, I need to spend time with him too of course.
My Pastor said to me last night that he is going to need some work done soon and he would like to call my husband. He said he can't pay full carpenter prices but can pay. I pray my husband will do this. He needs the work and wow, what a great way for him to get to know my Pastor.
