  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A Cry In The Dark

Living a constant lie

My whimpering words were full of doubt
Yet no one seemed to care
When whispers turned to frightened shout
“Please help me if You’re there”

A week a month just crawled on by
Tears were nothing strange
Feeling so low I thought to die
But then I felt the change

I heard a voice perhaps a thought
But then it came again
Though seconds was The Lord’s report
The facts were all so plain

The One true God The Father’s real
And Jesus Christ’s His Son
He knows exactly how we feel
And all the things we’ve done

Rid of the curse and fear of death
Rid of my dreadful past
From deep within now Jesus’ Breath
Has set me free at last

I’m free to live I’m free to love
I’m free to combat sin
With Heaven’s Flame and Holy Dove
I’m free to fight and win
