My good friend and brother in Christ Dale called me earlier. He asked me to come pick him up at a local mechanic's shop because his new work truck was being worked on. We spent a good while talking to each other about the Lord.
He speaks nothing but life, and I'm thankful that God sent him to me. He has been such a wondeful blessing.
He suggested that I keep a journal of what wisdom is revealed to me by our Heavenly Father, and this confirms what God told me and also my aunt.
When I try to write this entry, I feel that my mind wants to wander, but I know that's the evil one trying to get a foothold. I must not let these intrusions twist my mind.
I found a wristband chewed in half by the cat in the floor. It had the symbols that demonstrate Jesus coming to Earth, His crucifiction, His burial, His ascention, and His return. At first I wasn't too sure what to do with it, but I got a feeling that I should throw it away since it seemed symbolic of what the evil one wanted me to do, that is to doubt that Jesus existed at all and to destroy my faith. I tossed it into the trash.
I remember now that the old hymn "Go tell it on the mountain" was one that made me emotional back when I accepted Jesus. It's awesome when God uses something from your past to confirm something for your future.
