Wow. It has been over a year since I have posted here. Hello again blog. So much has happened, I really don't know where to start. I have been to see my dad twice with Danny in the past year. The last time was this last weekend and we took the kids. They really had a good time. Everyone got along. It was great. Then in February, Danny and I went to NM to see my mother. That went better than expected too, with the slight suprise of buying a wedding dress. Danny and I are getting married May 29th. We were just going to go to the courthouse to get it done. Nothing fancy. Just something to get it the job done to seal the deal and correct the situation of us living in sin.
We reserved a cute little chapel at a historical grounds and got suits for the guys and a bridesmaid dress for Danny's daughter. My family is coming in for the wedding, and so is Danny's. Plus some friends from Ohio and work. So we are really blessed. I have been getting a lot of overtime lately that really helps to pay for the wedding and our bills and stuff. This is going to be one hell of a story when everything is all said and done. even though Danny and I sinned and did the adultry and live together, God has still contined to work in our lives. He continues to bless us as we continue to depend on His grace and promise to forgive us as we are cleansed by His blood daily. My immediate family has been reconciled. My whole family is coming to the wedding. My dad is going to walk me down the aisle. My parents are going to be in the same state. My whole family hasn't been together for 8 years in the same state. And this is what the Lord has done.
Not to mention Danny's family all coming. They were never opposed to us getting married, but they did not want to go to a big wedding with a preacher. That's mainly his mom. But she's coming. And his sister is flying in from Seattle. He didn't even go to his sister's wedding. And they haven't seen each other in a really long time. His kids are going to be our best man and bridesmaid. And those are miracles of reconciliation people.
