Well I have had a good day today!
I went to see my Spiritual Director and we had a good Chat - Her name is Muriel and she is a God send! The Church put me in touch with her when I got involved with the Selection process and she is completely confidential so I can really just outpoor all my moans and groans ( a bit like you lot on here
)
Well we spoke about the way I had been feeling and she told me it was natural to feel up and down when going through the Selection as it's such a rollercoaster ride!
Then I went to see my DDO and he said he was very pleased with what I was doing (I must admit I am very Busy at the moment but if you are all as excited about the Christmas season as I am then you will understand when I say I LOVE getting involved!) and that he didnt need to see me until the end of Jan.
One funny thing I am getting involved with at the moment is the Christmas Choir (I'm not sure if you have the same thing where we have a town Tree and everyone gathers around for Carols etc?) The thing is that I have got to learn a Welsh song (Which is Hard for a Mancunian!) - I have had to get my Mum to phonetically redo it! lol - I'll let you know if I succeed!! It's a gorgeous Carol (Kind of a Lullaby) and fairly simple so even I should be able to cope with it - the next thing will be to learn the Alto lines lol!!!
I have also been going to Mothers Union for a couple of months now - I know I'm not a Mother but Apparently that doesn't matter these days. I really enjoy it - we get to have a presentation and then a cuppa and cake so it's quite a good afternoon. I'm joining next month so will get a lovely little MU brooch!
I think thats about it for now - Thankyou so much for all the prayers I have had for my Fathers Cancer and all my Buddies on here! Have a Blessed November!
(group hug!) xxx
