So many thoughts zooming across my head. Yesterday I was so depressed and hurt. I had no one to turn to but HIM. I prayed and opened his word in search of encouragement. It still hurt but slowly found peace. I fell asleep on tear soaked pages.
I'm finding that day by day I'm turning more to Him for guidance, and just talking to Him. I realized He's always there for me, and that He loves me completely. No one on this earth can even come close to that kind of love and dedication. That's why our God is an AWESOME GOD. Praise Him everyday.
What's funny is I was watching Evan Almighty, and something in that movie kind of struck me. Where Morgan Freeman said if you ask to be a closer family God doesn't give you warm fuzzy feelings, He gives you the opportunity to become that closer family. I never thought about it that way. God isn't going to zap you and bam you have patience. he's going to give you situations to make you patient. This whole year I've been praying for patience, and let me tell you almost all my situations have been testing my patience. It's quite amazing and it's awesome when you realize what's going on.
