We do know where the big bang came from. It came from man's big head.

Actually it came from a Christian scholar Monseigneur Georges Henri Joseph Édouard Lemaître. It is also important to realize that Galileo was a devout Catholic who's arguments against Aristotelian mechanics were never aimed at the Scriptures. Newton in his most famous work even included an Intelligent Design argument in one of the appendices.

As for me, I believe in the Big Bang, God spoke and BANG, there it was.

Grace and peace,
Mark

Which group do you think is the driving force behind the evolution / creationism argument?

This poll assumes that you think that evolution and religion are compatible - or at least that there's no reason that religious people can't accept evolution.

It is possible to be a Christian and believe in evolution and a great many Christians do so. However they do so erroneously and in this matter they are deceived by a greater mind than their own.

When this theory first started gaining ground in the Christian world in the early twentieth century the effect was mainly to erode confidence in scripture. Atheists whether as Nazis with theories of racial evolution, Communists looking for ways to debunk Christian faith or modern liberals who have given science the authority that once belonged to the church so long as it speaks in a non Christian voice have used this theory to promote their ends. Creationists are really just being honest to scripture about this, refusing to accept idolatries as diverse as myths of racial supremacy, communist ideology or the idolatry of a science that really cannot speak with a great deal of authority about our origins and yet nonetheless attempts to do so anyway.

Anything that consistently and methodically contributes to an erosion of faith and confidence in Gods word must be considered a work of the devil. So God is the Creator and Satan is the one who aspires to evolve to be greater than God and he suggests that Gods claim to supremacy based on being first and making all things may not actually guarantee he stays in the top spot . Evolution fits this Satanic aspiration and pride and this is its ultimate root.

i think evolution is silly they cant prove where this big bang came from.

The theory of evolution is a theory in the field of biology, not in the field of physics.

The big bang is irrelevant to evolution, except in the sense that without a physical base, there would be no biological life at all.

So your reason to think evolution is silly is a silly reason.

So you feel life is not well connected to reality? The idea is that life springs out of matter and matter has no origin based on our physical laws.

Both pointing to some kind of "God" is more logical.
