One thing is certain. Clinton's old pollster's, Stanley Greenberg, analysis of the religious vote in the 2004 election shook the Democratic party up. One result was "last July's founding conference for the Network of Spiritual Progressives."

Nostalgic for 1970s era Libertarian theology and the slogans of the baby boomer 'New Left'?

Rabbi Michael Lerner and Jim Wallis have exactly what you are looking for.

On second thought, maybe we should vote for Bill and Ted from Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. At least they have the ability to problem solve. The government would be a most excellent place and after all God did send them back from the dead.

...to drinking party. After all, Ben Franklin said, "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

UberLutheran, I'll trade you my oat ale for a prickly pear margarita!;)

ATKINS WARNING: If you are "counting carbs", my beer is not for you!!!

Who am I to judge? Who are we to judge?

Isn't it politically incorrect to even suggest one faction might be more hospitalible to faith than another?

"Deeply held personal beliefs", as Senator Charles Schumer refers to the Christian religion, are a private matter.
