Split Rock
Conflation of Blathers
Earth was not only the first planet in existence, it was the first object in the universe that had mass.
The earth came first, then the universe was created around it.

Nothing amazing about that. Like Split Rock, every planet is unique in all the universe. Besides, it was for emotional effect, anyway.
Maybe other planets with intelligent life also have books which claim God created their planet in a special manner. How would you know? All the planets are unique in their own way, but the earth is the only one that has life (as far as we can determine). That makes earth 'uniquer' than the others. Also, God separated the earth from the rest of the universe (see Gen 1:1) for a special purpose. What other astral body is God's 'footstool', or 'apple' of his eye?

Wrong.Earth was not only the first planet in existence, it was the first object in the universe that had mass.

A bird in the hand doesn't disprove two in the bush.

oldwiseguy said:No, but would you give up the one you have for two that you cannot see?
It would be funny if they agreed with me, wouldn't it? it might show they have some reading comprehension, eh?Congrats, yet another post on FSTDT
Well, I asked, didn't I?
No exceptions, huh?Anything that has Energy has Mass.
It was worth your time to congratulate me here, wasn't it?not worth my time
Now all of a sudden, when I counter that, your time becomes precious?Congrats, yet another post on FSTDT
You are doing just that when you deny the evidence provided by science in favor of a litany of 'facts' with no evidence.
The only 'evidence' science has for life on other planets is the the sheer number of 'planets' and 'probability'. Science reasons that because of the size of the universe there 'must' be life out there somewere. It's a fools errand, like thinking to improve 50 to 1 odds by throwing the dice more, not realizing that the odds remain the same no matter how many times the dice are tossed.
