What's your favorite anime/manga graphic novel?
I've only recently got into anime/manga so I haven't really read alot. I was just wanted some suggestions. Thanks.

I love FLCL!
It's really odd, and pretty short, but I still love it.
(If you're looking for one's to read/watch, be careful, as FLCL is kinda perverted in a few parts)

FMA
FMP (Full Metal Panic )
Gundam (Any Gundam, Z, G, SD, u name it)

Anything from Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed is a great Anime movie. Also I would recommend most Gundam series I didn't care for G or SD but have enjoyed all of the others.

I agree with most of what has been said.

*I have never met anyone who didn’t like Full Metal Alchemist (FMA).

*Dragonball Z and GT are awesome; however I don't think they really appeal to females.

*Ghost in the Shell is probably the best sci-fi anime I have seen.

*Neon Genesis Evangelion and RahXephon are two both very good mecha animes.

*Samurai 7 and Samurai Champloo are two very good samurai animes.

*Ai Yori Aoshi and Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien are two very good romance animes. (Be careful with these ones. They have there moments of adult type content)

But my favourite animes are:
*Howl's Moving Castle
*Laputa - Castle In the Sky
*Spirited Away

These are movies done mostly for kids I believe. But I love them. They have splendid animation and music. And what’s more they are suitable for everyone. They are just such a “feel good” movie to watch.

I love anime movie !!

You should check out Vision of Escaflowne, Infinite Ryvius, RAY the Animation, Haibane Renmei and Jigoku Shoujo.

As for movies, you should check out Ghost in the Shell, Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers.

Anime show: Cowboy Bebop
Anime film: Ghost in the Shell (maybe, this one is tough)
Manga: Berserk (for those with delicate sensibilities, you might find a lot of the material here extremely offensive)
