"And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven" - that is what terrifies the wicked men of the world, and is what triggers them to gather their armies together at Armageddon to prepare to make war on Jesus. The 1290 day of Daniel 12:11 leads to the day of the sign of the Son of man appearing in heaven.

Marilyn, to know when the abomination of desolation image will be set up, count back 1335 days from when Jesus returns on day 2520.

Therefore, on the 2520 day timeline, the abomination of desolation will be set up on day 1185.

Then from day 1185, count forward 1290 days to know when on the timeline the sign of the Son of man will first appear in heaven. on day 2475.

During the 45 days, the kings of the earth will gather their armies at Armageddon to prepare to make war on Jesus.

Therefore, on the 2520 day timeline, the abomination of desolation will be set up on day 1185.

So, where do you get that 1,335 days is from when Jesus returns?

1,290 days shows us that is the end of the sacrilege of the Temple, (Dan. 12: 11) thus Jesus would have been there for making it holy again. (note end of 70th week. Dan. 9: 24)

Hi Marilyn, the temple will be cleansed of those things that will have made it desolate, the day of Jesus's return. Namely, the removal of the statue image (turned to ashes), Satan cast into the bottomless pit, and the beast-king and the false prophet cast alive into the lake of fire.

Now when the Lord returns it is not like He waves a magic wand and all is good, for many things have to happen.

1. The Lord deals with the world`s armies surrounding Jerusalem. (Zech. 14: 12)
2. The Lord reveals Himself to the people of Israel hiding in Jerusalem. (Zech. 12: 9 & 10)
3. The people of Israel go into mourning. (Zech. 12: 12 - 14)
4. The temple will have to go through a special ceremony to cleanse it. (Dan. 8: 14)
5. The Jews from all over the world will be brought back to Jerusalem. (Isa. 66: 19 - 21)
6. The Feast of Purim, (Israel`s National celebration) will finally be celebrated for deliverance from all their enemies. (Dan. 12: 12, Esther 9: 18 - 23) It will be celebrated in Jerusalem on the 15th of Adar. 1,335 days - 1,260, 1,290, + 30 + 15 days.)

So we see that much has to happen before it is the `Blessed` time.

I agree that the image of the beast will be done away with, however Israel has from God a cleansing process to do to cleanse the Temple and the sanctuary. And that will be after they had finished their month of mourning. Dan. 9: 24 tells us `70 weeks ....and to anoint the Most Holy,` and that is the sanctuary in the temple. That will be at the end of the 70 weeks of years, however we know that Jesus comes a month before that because the tribulation is cut short. (1,260 days A/C rules and Jesus returns, 1,290 days Temple cleansed and end of 70th week.)

The anti-Christ sends forth the demons to gather the world`s armies because God has destroyed his seat of power and authority - Babylon, (in Iraq).

But why would the armies gather at Armageddon be specifically focus on making war on Jesus and His armies - unless Jesus and His armies form a visible threat ?

What I am getting at, Marilyn, is that there has to be a major visible threat to the kings of the earth to assemble their armies to make war on Jesus and his armies. Revelation 19:19.

Good talking to you as we both like the details in God`s word. Now Ps. 2 is talking about the nations and kings and rulers taking counsel together, and that takes time. They haven`t yet gathered their armies.

Note it is God who gathers the world`s armies to surround Jerusalem.

`I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there. ` (Joel 3: 2)

Then when the world`s armies surround Jerusalem after pillaging it, then -

`The sun and moon will grow dark and the stars will diminish their brightness. The Lord will also roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; the heavens and earth will shake...` (Joel 3: 15 & 16)

`It will come to pass in that day that there will be no light; the lights will diminish. It shall be one day which is known to the Lord - neither day nor night. But at evening it shall happen that it will be light.` (Zech. 14: 6 & 7)

A day that quite unnaturally becomes light at evening time. This is a specific day, apart from all other days, and I believe it has a significance inasmuch as it is the day the Lord of Host and His armies leave the heavenly heights to invade the Satanically- ruled earth; and as all natural light has ceased, suddenly this strange, eerie half-light appears. There is no natural light, but it would seem to indicate a light other than that of nature, beginning to change the blackness of the planet.

We know that when the Lord said He comes it will be with power and great glory, and all the holy angels with Him. I suspect this first ray and glimmer of light is emanating from the distant armies of heaven who are on their way to this sin-striken blackened earth. Hence at evening time the light gets brighter - as though there were a steady increase in this emanation of glory.

It is only then that the world`s armies see the Lord who in all His glory. The affect is like a nuclear bomb -

`their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.` (Zech. 14: 12)

The sign appears immediately after the tribulation of those days - not after the Great Tribulation of those days.

The tribulation of those days is saying most of the Great Tribulation is over, but some of it still left.

After the sign of the Son of man appears in heaven, there will still be one vial of God's wrath of the Great Tribulation to be poured out. And that vial is the 7th vial of God's wrath poured out in Revelation 16:17-21.

I show on my chart, the 7 vial poured out, near the end of the 45 day period.

Shabbat Parah the Sabbath of the red heifer is this Saturday March 29th, Easter weekend.. that is some biblical timing with the eclipse a week later..

The temple institute has all the pieces in place and want it done before passover, so this seems like the most likely time. If they sacrifice the red heifers this weekend with the solar eclipse coming up a week later we should expect the week before the eclipse to be similar to the first week...
