And yes, we have means to get a head count and they tend to factor in people who have died, not matter what the cause.

I've heard some really ridiculous claims in my time but this one is definitely Hall of Fame material in that regard. First, creationism is not now taught in public schools as a scientific fact and evolution is. Second in pre 1950s United States, Creationism was more popularly believed than it is now and actually taught in many places as scientific fact , so if a certain number of people believing in creationism was harming education it would be reasonable to assume that the populace would be moving in the right direction rather than the wrong one and rather than being concerned and even frightened one ought to be encouraged and optimistic. Third, the belief in creationism has no effect upon whether a person can read, write or calculate or else one would not expect that those would be the major deficiencies in the US education system today while being the strengths of the education system pre 1950 when creationism was still the majority belief of the populace.

You cannot call yourself a true non believer unless you are making up stories about believers, true or not. The only thing that is relevant is that you are bagging someone. Of course, if we bag a non believer they get all upset and say "How dare you..."

That is why the chance of having a meaningful conversation with them is about zero.They seem to specialise in pejorative language and ad hominen attacks that show the paucity of their ability to say anything worth listening to.

And they insult us be expecting us to believe they are the intelligent ones.

On the contrary, believers say horrible things to atheists and we take it without a word because it's like water off a ducks back, just meaningless words, what doesn't happen is atheists being allowed to say [what Christians call] horrible things to Christians, we are called anti-religious just for asking Christians to defend their claims.
How dare atheists question Christianity when atheists know Christians can not defend their religion all they can do is call on 'faith' because that's all Christians have been given, words written be men and faith.
