Did you know you can save souls and never say a word? How, do you ask? Well it sounds ridiculous but it`s true. You heard of the saying, actions speak louder than words. Well it`s the same concept. You can tell many things about someone not only by what they say but so much more by the way they act.
As a Christian we are bound by Gods Word to act a certain way. That`s not to say we should walk around like a programmed robot. We are allowed our own personalities but we must treat situations in our life according to the Word of God.
1 Samuel 2:3 says, Talk no more so very proudly; Let no arrogance come from your mouth, For the Lord is the God of knowledge; And by Him actions are weighed (NKJV). 1 Timothy 4:16 says, Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you (NKJV). When people see us they should see Jesus. Our actions in times of crisis, sickness, persecution and adversity speak volumes to our family, friends, co-workers and even strangers.
Showing the love, kindness and understanding that our Lord Jesus Christ displayed during His ministry as a man is all you need to do!
To do this you must learn the heart and mind of God. How? By keeping a steadfast devotional life of prayer, fasting and reading the Word. This helps you to be like Jesus. A daily devotional life will transform your mind and body into the person the Lord wants us to be. Once transformed we begin to act unknowingly like Jesus. When people see this they became attracted to us and want to know what we got. The door then opens up for us to share the good news .eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ!
